Distribution of Meals to the Elderly in Need by the Rotary Club of New Territories and Rotary Community Corps of New Territories with Ginkgo House
Provided by P. Jimmy Li, Rotary Club of New Territories, and P. Katie Leung, Rotary Community Corps of New Territories

The Rotary Club of New Territories established the Rotary Community Corps of New Territories (RCCNT) in 2016 to recruit more individuals willing to serve the community. In response to the growing demand for elderly services, the RCCNT, under the leadership of P. Katie Leung, has initiated a series of community services for the elderly, called 松心出發 in Chinese.
The elderly services commenced during the Chinese New Year of 2025 when P. Jimmy Li from the Rotary Club of New Territories and P. Katie Leung led their respective club and group members to prepare charity lunch boxes. They distributed these to over 100 elderly beneficiaries in collaboration with Ginkgo House (銀杏館) at a shopping mall in Yau Tong, demonstrating care for the elderly through action.
This joint event not only highlighted the strong cooperation between the Rotary Club of New Territories and the Rotary Community Corps of New Territories in serving the community but also helped identify pressing needs and opportunities for sustainable solutions.
