Rotary International District 3450 received the Elite Partnership Award from the Red Cross

Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service announced to present the “Elite Partnership Award 2024 (Community Partners)” to Rotary International District 3450.

In recent years, we have focused on the below aspects of blood donation drives:

  1. Recurrent Blood Donation – Encourage the Rotary and Rotaract clubs to host the small group blood donations.
  2. Collaborate with the third party to hold blood donation event – Encourage the Rotarians and Rotaractors to hold blood donations with the commercial entities or NGOs.
  3. Rotary District Blood Donation Day – Encourage the Rotarians and Rotaractors to attend this District event and be the blood donors.

At the beginning of the Magic Rotary year, our District Health Service Committee invites the Rotary/Rotaract clubs in Hong Kong to be our Ambassadors of Blood Donation and host Group Blood Donation Event. We aim to make a deeper impact on blood donation in our community and raise awareness among the Rotarians, Rotaractors, and the citizens. We also would be to help the Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service to stabilize the blood storage.

Thank the clubs of Area 4 hold the group blood donation at Mongkok Donor Centre on 1st Jul 2024 (Monday). Almost 50 Rotarians, Rotaractors and friends registered to be the donors. We would like to express our gratitude to the following clubs in hosting group blood donations in July 2024.
