District Governor Nigel Lo Visits Liaison Office in Macau

On September 3, Rotary International District 3450 Governor Nigel Lo led a delegation of district officers and presidents of Rotary clubs in Macao to visit the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region. They were warmly received by Deputy Director Wu Hui of the Coordination Department. During the meeting, Governor Nigel expressed heartfelt gratitude for the long-term support given by the Liaison Office to the Rotary clubs in Macao and introduced the overview and annual work plan of Rotary International District 3450, especially the Mental Health Plus initiatives.

Deputy Director Wu Hui affirmed the various services and the spirit of selfless dedication promoted by the Rotary clubs in Macao, the mainland, and other regions. He encouraged the Rotary clubs to continue leveraging their advantages, using their international network and the influence of their members in various professional fields to build a better society, tell good stories of China, and jointly build a community with a shared future for humankind. He also encouraged the Rotary clubs to engage more with mainland provinces and cities in the future, understand the country’s development, and cultivate talents who love the country, Macao, and Hong Kong. Both sides had a thorough and in-depth exchange during the meeting.
