Rotary and Mental Health

I am happy to learn that many clubs are supporting District 3450 Mental Health+ Initiative. A vast majority of clubs have plans on implementing service projects that address mental health and related issues. When examining mental health challenges within our communities, it is easy to become overwhelmed by negative factors. However, Rotarians choose not to dwell on these issues. Instead, they take proactive steps to implement sustainable solutions, transforming lives and fostering hope. This commitment to action reflects their core values and unwavering dedication to making a positive impact. By focusing on constructive change, Rotarians embody the true spirit of being PEOPLE OF ACTION, demonstrating their capacity to address critical issues and create lasting improvements in our communities.

Special Message to all Club Presidents

This Rotary year will be reaching the half year mark. I must applause your determination in enhancing participants’ engagement and membership retention. By fostering inclusive club environment, you have strengthened member’ connections and encouraged active involvement. As you focus on your annual goals, remember the impact of aligning efforts with Rotary’s mission. Your leadership has not only retained members but also attracted new ones, ensuring your club’s growth and success. Keep up the great work, with your support and dedication, I am confidence that we can create our Magic of Rotary together.

扶輪與精神健康

我很高興見到「地區3450精神健康+計劃」獲得許多社的支持。絕大部分的社都在籌劃與精神健康有關的服務項目。環顧四周，我們的社區在精神健康方面挑戰重重，我們很容易受到負面的因素影響。然而，我們扶輪人選擇坐言起行，積極參與實施可持續的解決方案，為他人改善人生以及創造希望。他們熱切的行動正好反映他們的核心價值和堅定意志，力求為社會帶來正面的影響。這足以證明他們就是「採取行動的人」 — People of Action — 他們有能力處理艱巨的問題，也有能力持久改善我們的社區。

特意給所有社長的訊息

這個扶輪年度已差不多過了一半。我必須讚賞你們不但積極讓參與者更投入也努力維繫社友。你們讓自己的社更包容，既增强社員的網絡，也鼓勵他們積極參與。在著眼達成你們的年度目標同時，別忽略扶輪的使命。在你們的領導之下，挽留社員固然重要，但同時也要招收新社員，務求令你們的社不斷拓展，繼續取得成就。請你們繼續努力，有你們的支持和奉獻，我很有信心我們必定能創造我們的神奇扶輪。
