      Among Rotary 7 areas of focus, two involve individual health (maternal\/child health and disease prevention & treatment) and two involve public health (water sanitation and hygiene & supporting environment).  It reflects the importance of health projects in Rotary activities. We should see \u201cThe \u201cMagic of Rotary\u201d after we have \u201cCreated Hope in the World\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      District Health Committee 24-25 has a very strong team of advisors, vice-chairs and subcommittee chairs.  There are 4 areas of focus. 1. With mental health being our main focus, it is subdivided into suicide prevention, dementia, carer support, SEN. 2. Continue our previous successful champaigns in Blood and organ donation, we hope to engage more \u201cNew Blood\u201d – Rotaractors. 3. Cardiac Health continues its life-saving theme and we aim to extend the services from CRP\/AED also to atrial fibrillation (AF)\/stroke prevention and to expand to Macau and Mongolia. Cancer is leading cause of death in Hong Kong and causing tremendous suffering for the sick and family.  We will focus on cervical and colorectal cancer prevention in 24-25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      DHC is here to advise<\/strong>, facilitate<\/strong>, coordinate<\/strong> to scale up<\/strong>.  My vision is we will have health project initiated in District 3450 and eventually becoming a Rotary Global Project. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
