The committee&#8217;s primary goals in 2024-25 are to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"coblocks-animate wp-block-list\" data-coblocks-animation=\"fadeIn\">\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-primary-color\"><strong>Raise Awareness<\/strong>: <\/mark>Increase public awareness of our club&#8217;s service projects, initiatives, and impact in the local community.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-primary-color\">Enhance Reputation: <\/mark><\/strong>Position your Rotary club as a trusted, respected, and influential organization that is making a meaningful difference.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-primary-color\"><strong>Attract New Members<\/strong>: <\/mark>Showcase the benefits of Rotary membership to potential new members and encourage them to get involved.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The committee typically consists of 7 different sub-committees with over 30 members who have a passion for marketing, communications and public relations. We work closely with our club&#8217;s Presidents &amp; other District committees to develop and execute a strategic public image plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By effectively promoting Rotary District 3450 and our Rotary club&#8217;s image and achievements, our PI Committee plays a crucial role in attracting new members, securing community support, and ultimately expanding our club&#8217;s reach and impact, for sure, especially work closely with District Membership team increasing our impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here are some effective ways the Rotary Public Image Committee can promote the club&#8217;s community service initiatives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"coblocks-animate wp-block-list\" data-coblocks-animation=\"fadeIn\">\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-primary-color\"><strong>Storytelling<\/strong>: <\/mark>Develop compelling stories that highlight the impact of our club&#8217;s service projects. Focus on the personal narratives of those who have benefited from your club&#8217;s work. Share these stories across your club&#8217;s website, social media channels, and local media outlets, we provide basic storytelling training for club if act as guest speaker.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-primary-color\"><strong>Visual Content<\/strong>: <\/mark>Create engaging visual content like photos, videos, and infographics that showcase your club members in action during service activities. Use these visuals to generate interest and showcase the hands-on nature of Rotary service, we extend our People of Action (PoA) photo and video shooting competition with Zone 10B &amp; C.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-primary-color\"><strong>Media Outreach<\/strong>: <\/mark>Proactively pitch stories about our club&#8217;s service projects initiatives to local newspapers, TV stations, and social medias. Offer club members as expert sources for interviews on relevant topics will launch through our YouTube channel from September 2024.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-primary-color\"><strong>Community Partnerships<\/strong>: <\/mark>Collaborate with other local NGO, Charity &amp; service organizations, and community leaders to co-promote our shared service projects. This helps expand our club&#8217;s reach and credibility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-primary-color\"><strong>Digital Amplification<\/strong>:<\/mark> Leverage our club&#8217;s website and social media channels to regularly highlight upcoming service projects and share updates on completed initiatives. Encourage club members to like, comment, and share this content to amplify its reach.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-primary-color\"><strong>Signage and Branding<\/strong>: <\/mark>Ensure our Rotary club&#8217;s branding is prominently displayed at all service project sites, landmarks and large-scale events. This helps raise awareness of our District &amp; club&#8217;s involvement and commitment to the community.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-primary-color\"><strong>Member Engagement<\/strong>:<\/mark> Empower and incentivize our club President &amp; their members to become active ambassadors for our community service work. Provide them with the tools and talking points to spread the word through their personal networks.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thank you again for this wonderful opportunity from DG Nigel.
